Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business in the early years of her life. When she reached the age of 16years old, Alexandra was able to land leading roles in several television dramas. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was critically as well as highly rated commercially. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra is involved in many notable projects, both nationally and internationally. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
