Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born 16 March, 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011 after playing small roles she played for Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. By 2012 she was regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms. After she received an award from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then began appearing on numerous panel show where she is becoming a mainstay. In 2016, and in 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sister called Sinead. She was the winner of the So You Think You're Funny Award for the second time. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet, who was killed when Bea reached the age of three, was a sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his death only at the age of thirteen. As a way to honor her dad, she adopted the stage-name Bea and in 2017, published an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea, along with her older sister Sinead was raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. The family was racing and horse-related. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the race industry was not for her.
